Cookie Policy

This policy explains how nembario.digital uses cookies and similar technologies, what they do, and how you can control them.

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Some are necessary for the site to work; others help us understand how the site is used.

Policy summary

Two kinds of cookie run on this site

One set keeps pages loading, sessions signed in and forms protected. A second, smaller set tells us which pages get read. Nothing here profiles you for advertising, and no cookie on this site is used to build an advertising audience.

The policy is written to be read start to finish. If a line raises a question, ask us in plain language and we will answer it in plain language.

What cookies are

A small text file, not a program

A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets the site remember something between page loads, such as a preference or a session state.

Cookies aren't programs and can't run code on your device. They only store the information the site puts in them, and your browser controls whether they're kept. Deleting a cookie is immediate and permanent, whatever the file was holding disappears with it.

A cookie belongs to one site at a time. Your browser is told which origin wrote it, and it will not send that file to a different site unless the site's own settings deliberately allow it. On this site, the naming and lifetime of every cookie is set so it cannot be confused with anything written elsewhere.

Reading a cookie in your browser

  1. Open your browser's developer tools on any page of this site.
  2. Select the storage or application tab, then the cookies entry for nembario.digital.
  3. Every active cookie with its name and expiry date is listed there in full.

Cookies we use

One required set, one optional set

Two categories run on nembario.digital. The first cannot be switched off through our settings; the second can be refused without losing access to any page.

Strictly necessary Basic session handling and security. They keep pages loading, keep a form submission tied to the browser that sent it, and protect against cross-site request forgery. Turning them off may stop parts of the site working. Required
Analytics Limited measurement of which pages are visited and how visitors move between them. Reports are aggregated; no attempt is made to identify you from them. Refusing these cookies does not block any page. Optional
Preference Remembering a small choice between visits, such as a dismissed notice or a selected filter on a results view. These carry no personal detail and expire on their own. Optional

Where a cookie is set by us, the name, purpose and lifetime are visible in your browser's storage view the moment it is written. We do not run cookies for advertising, retargeting or cross-site tracking.

Third-party cookies

Tools we embed set their own files

Some features on the site, such as the scheduling widget, are provided by third parties. Those providers may set their own cookies when you interact with their tools.

We don't control third-party cookies. Their use is governed by the privacy and cookie policies of the provider in question. Before you open a scheduling tool, its own notice appears inside that widget and explains what it will store.

Managing cookies

Your browser is where the switch lives

Block everything

Most browsers let you refuse all cookies by default. That is the strictest setting and the one most likely to break a signed-in session or a form.

Block third parties only

This keeps our own session handling intact while stopping embedded tools from writing anything. Scheduling widgets normally still work; some may not remember you between visits.

Clear what exists

Clearing stored site data removes every cookie currently on your device, including any you accepted earlier. You will be asked again the next time an optional cookie would be set.

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the site works. Blocking analytics or third-party cookies generally won't prevent you from using the main pages — nothing on this site hides its content behind an acceptance you cannot take back.

Changes and contact

Where to send a question

We may update this policy if our use of cookies changes. The current version is the one published here, and the date at the top of this page tells you when it last changed.

Questions about cookies can be sent through the contact page. We'll explain what a given cookie does and whether it's necessary for the site to function.
